Each quarter we collect buy, renew and transfer prices and promotions from your top registrars' websites, normalised for currency and tax so comparisons are fair.
Domain usage Optional
What registrants do with their domains.
We crawl a random sample of domains from your zone each month and classify them by use, from live content to parked pages, alongside redirects, email (MX) records and HTTPS. Results are available for the whole TLD or by registrar.
Geographic maps Optional
Where your registrations are, and where they are growing.
Maps of domains by country or postcode, depending on the data available, showing concentration and growth areas.

Setup is mostly a one-off data exercise. After that, a monthly upload keeps everything current.

Data you provide
Aggregated counts only, no registrant data
RegExplore works from monthly totals per registrar. Upload a file in the platform, or publish a JSON file to a URL we read automatically each month (IP whitelisting is fine).

Definitions follow the registration metrics standard developed by CENTR's Registry-Registrar Data Group, so your figures line up with the terms registries and registrars already use.

Who is RegExplore for?
Top-level domain registries that sell through a network of registrars. It also suits any organisation selling a subscription product through resellers.
How many people can use it?
As many as you need on a single subscription. Each person gets their own login and the quarterly report by email.
How often is the data updated?
Monthly. Dashboards refresh as soon as your upload is loaded.
Can it cover more than one TLD?
Yes. Let us know at setup and we'll add a TLD selector to the dashboards.
How does this relate to your other work?
